Now I don't know how many of you follow animated features. Since this is deviantart, I'll venture to say... everyone. But I assure you Space Chimps is going to be the can't miss animated comedy of the summer!

First of all they're chimps, and monkeys are always funny. A monkey on youtube slinging his poo? Hilarious. A monkey on youtube drinking his pee? Oh you silly monkey, don't do that, how funny! So as you can see monkeys get into plenty of humorous situations on their own.

But what if you put them... in SPACE???? Can you imagine the antics that will ensue? I can't! That's why I have to see this movie to see what kind of misadventures our primate pals get into.

Not only do we get monkeys, we get a ragtag crew of monkeys! We get the scrawny but lovable lead chimp, who I'm sure is treated as the underdog that we can all relate to before he gets the girl and saves the day. Speaking of which, there's a girl chimp, and even a big muscular tough guy chimp! It's clear a lot of work was put into this whacky cast of characters.

From the trailers alone the jokes already kill me. I mean, the girl chimp says "You're missing a link." This is very clever, because as science has told us, human beings evolved from monkeys but we're missing that evolutionary link that connects us. Wit and education!

I don't know about all of you, but I'll be first in line opening day to get my ticket for this exciting, funny rip roaring adventure!
